This page explains the privacy policy of the application “BAMF-NAvI” (excluding external links). This application has links to websites of the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (e.g. the contact form) with its own Data Protection page.

This application uses services of the Federal Agency for Cartography and Geodesy (BKG). If necessary, location data are transferred, but not saved. IP adresses are saved to ensure that its services are provided in a technically secure manner - see also the privacy policy of the BKG:

What data this application stores

  • accessed data with date and time
  • error messages in the case of the occurrence of errors
  • the IP address that you were surfing from

What we use the data for

Access data are collected and stored for security and error analysis. Legal basis is Article 6 (1) (f) of the GDPR. Personal data (the IP addresses) will be deleted after 6 months.

This website is operated by the Federal Information Technology Centre (ITZBund). Processings are carried out in compliance with Article 28 (3) of the GDPR.
